Pilates

Fascia is the connective tissue layer that sits under the skin that surrounds all of the muscles, organs, blood vessels and bones of the body. It plays an integral part in our day-to-day movement function, but often gets tight and can cause pain due to repeated motions, muscular imbalances, limited physical activity (sedentary), dehydration, anxiety or trauma/injury.

The class will be a combination of yoga stretch postures, with foam and small ball rolling techniques to relieve the tension sitting in the muscles and fascia (myofascia). It will help improve your joint range of motion, decrease muscle tension, improve flexibility, and relax the body.  â€‹All levels are welcome and encouraged!
