Studio Movement is a movement-improvement community dedicated to helping you move more, move better and move pain-free. A boutique fitness studio located in the heart of downtown Guelph and is fully equipped with high-end fitness equipment supervised by some of Guelph's best personal trainers. We offer personal training, small group training, indoor cycling, yoga and pilates classes, and fascial stretch therapy.

Class Descriptions:
Hatha Yoga Class
Hatha Yoga is a slower-paced practice focused on breathing, movement and flexibility. This class is perfect for beginners and experienced yogis who may want a more gentle class added to their weekly practice. Instructors will offer modifications/alternatives for all levels attending. This class will improve core muscle strength, balance, joint range of motion, and leave you feeling rejuvenated!
All levels are welcome and encouraged.

Cycle & Strengthen Class
Cardio AND Strength? The best of both worlds! Enjoy a 40 minute indoor High Intensity Interval Cycle! This class starts with a warm up, followed by a series of interval style drills designed to improve your power, speed and endurance. Following the ride, we will focus on strengthening the body with bodyweight exercise drills before cooling down with a stretch.
Traditionally speaking, interval classes are higher intensity and are targeted towards experienced riders. However, newcomers are always welcome to come and ride at your own pace! Remember, you control the resistance, this is your workout, and we are just the guide.
Class ends with a nice long cool down and stretch.
Equipment Required: Indoor Spin Bike is required; however, bike trainers also work but may limit your ability to do some of the drills so ride at your own pace.
Foam Roll and Yoga Stretch Class
Enjoy a nice relaxing stretch style yoga class, with self myofascial release using a variety of props: foam rollers, small ball (lacrosse), straps and blocks from your own home over ZOOM!
The class will be a combination of yoga stretch postures, with foam and small ball rolling techniques to improve your joint range of motion, decrease muscle tension, improve flexibility, and relax the body. All levels welcome!
Equipment Required:
- Mat
- Foam Roller
- Small Ball (Lacrosse Ball, Tennis Ball or Yoga Therapy Ball)
- Yoga Strap
Yoga blocks are recommended but not required.

Small Group Strength Class (In Person Only)
Think strength-style Boot Camp fitness, but in a small group with a certified Personal Trainer. Squats, Lunges, Push-Ups... It will have it all!
With a maximum of 6 participants in each group, you get to exercise with a motivating community, get more hands on experience from your coach, form correction, modifications provided based on fitness level and injuries, and more customized programming to your goals.
Available for all fitness levels
Pilates Class
Enjoy a low-impact muscular strength and flexibility class designed to help you improve core strength, muscular balance, and improve postural alignment.
While pilates is a whole-body practice, it is heavily core-focused (abdominals, spinals, muscles of the shoulder blades and hips). The class will use a variety of bodyweight, light-weight and banded exercises to improve core function and spinal stabilization.
Rhythm Cycle Class
Gentle Yoga Stretch Class
Gentle Hatha is a practice of basic postures to align the body and improve flexibility. Integrating breathwork and meditation to promote full body relaxation. This class will help you wind down, relax, and prepare you for a good nights rest.
All levels welcome and encouraged!

Virtual Bodyweight Bootcamp Class
Join us for an invigorating at-home strength workout! The best part is you don't need any equipment. Learn to use your body to challenge and improve your strength and endurance.
Class is 45 minutes with a warm-up, whole-body strength-focused workout, and a cool-down. This class is only offered virtually to allow you to interact with your coach, Lori! She will be monitoring for safety so please ensure your camera is ON so she can assist with form.

Yoga Stretch & Strengthen Class
Join us on the mat for a yoga class designed to strengthen and align the body with sun salutations, warriors, and balancing poses. The class starts and finishes with restorative stretching to leave you feeling rejuvenated!
Instructors will offer modifications/alternatives for all levels attending. This class will improve core muscle strength, balanced, joint range of motion, and leave you feeling rejuvenated!
